SUMMER
According to an ancient proverb, anyone who catches a leaf as it falls from the branch of a tree will be granted their dearest wish. Leung and Will are 16 years of age and friends. Both are aware of this proverb and, the longer the boys try to catch a leaf, the more Leung’s wish becomes apparent.

GROUP OF SEVEN INCHES
The film is based on the condescending depiction of “romantic savages” to be found in the diaries of “American Indian” painters George Catlin (1796–1872) and Paul Kane (1810–1871). These artists are foiled with great relish by Miss Chief Testickle (Kent Monkman’s alter ego), who abuses naked white men as dressing up dolls. Having first made them drunk, she seduces them and then dresses them up as “authentic” examples of the European male.

REPORTER ZERO
The film tells the story of Randy Shilts, who, at the beginning of the 1980s, was the first journalist to write about the discovery of the AIDS virus. At a time when nobody had yet died of the virus, Shilts’ articles unleashed hefty controversy in the USA, which soon turned into a debate about civil rights, public health and homosexuality.
