Bird, a Cheyenne/Mescalero Apache comes from a reservation in the US state of New Mexico and has been deeply involved with the culture and history of his people. Bird is 34 und works in Los Angeles for the Sundance Institute and the ”American Native Initiative“ program of the Sundance Festival.
