Her film studies and long-term experience in contributing to the ”Feminale“ Festival, Carla Despineux established the so called “Queer Looks – Quer Blick“ category at the women’s film festival in Cologne, which comprises lesbian and transgender films. Furthermore, the 43-year-old is involved in her own filmmaking and likes dancing to folk music.
